Dashyline is a design business for illustrator/designers who thrive on narratives to generate ideas. Social history and personal journeys inspire them and have become a special interest of theirs. In previous public art projects they have explored site-specific narratives and have created permanent artwork for large scale tile murals & vinyl wallpapers, the internet and a range of merchandise.

The partners in Dashyline - Sarah Nadin and Nicola Winstanley - had worked previously with Signs Now on a number of art projects for local schools and colleges. Dashyline have the ideas and the creative design skills whilst Signs Now has the expertise and the technology to turn their ideas into action.

Having collaborated on school projects Dashyline were successful in winning this commission for a design to go inside the offices of a large multi-national organisation. People in those offices had found their environment to be bland and lacking in stimulus. Dashyline conceived a number of designs to go around the walls of the office based on the international work of the organisation.

The designs are based on the continents of the world with each design reflecting a different continent.

Signs Now reproduced their ideas on to printed vinyl which was then applied to the walls of the office.

The customer has been delighted with the impact it has made and the improvement in staff morale.
